When people say plastic sheds, what the material they’re usually referring to is vinyl, resin, or PVC (polyvinyl carbonate). Because the material is so readily available, the manufacturers are able to sell it at low prices. It’s like you’re always getting it for a discount.

Though they are completely and totally functional, they tend to look cheaper as well.
